Acting Class

This theatre program introduces children to the wonders of the stage through play, games, movement, interactive storytelling and connections to other areas of learning. Children will build their early academic skills such as number sense, explore science topics from the BC kindergarten curriculum, and dive into seasonal topics such as Earth Day in engaging and exploratory ways, using drama as their guide.

Each week, children will engage their imaginations, learn to communicate and collaborate with others, and gain confidence when speaking and sharing their ideas in front of a group.

This will be a fun and high-energy program, where children are encouraged to develop their creativity and explore their world. It's a space where every child is celebrated and their ideas take centre stage.

This program is presented by Beyond the Stage. Beyond the Stage is a local theatre company that focuses on nurturing children's creativity and promoting self-confidence through theatrical activities.
